About the Perak Branch

Malaysia-China Chamber of Commerce · Perak Branch

26 years since our founding in 2000

The Perak Branch of the Malaysia-China Chamber of Commerce (MCCC) was founded in 2000 and is based in Ipoh. For more than two decades we have linked businesses in Perak with partners in China. We organise trade missions, exhibitions and business-matching sessions. We host visiting Chinese companies and delegations, and we run talks, forums and networking events for our members.

We work closely with the Consulate-General of the People's Republic of China in Penang, Ipoh City Council (MBI) and our sister branches in the northern region. To mark 50 years of Malaysia–China diplomatic relations in 2024, we hosted an international trade expo in Ipoh, which brought together more than 70 companies and chambers from China, Thailand and Malaysia. In early 2026 we moved into a new clubhouse twice the size of the old one. We will keep serving as a bridge between Malaysian and Chinese businesses, and grow in a more professional and structured way.

President's Message

President 林镇行

Dear members and friends,

Since our founding in 2000, the MCCC Perak Branch has served as a bridge between Malaysian and Chinese businesses. More and more Chinese companies are now coming to Perak to look for partners and investment opportunities. Working with MCCC headquarters and the relevant agencies, we host visiting Chinese investors and delegations.

To meet this demand, we moved in 2026 into a new clubhouse twice the size of the old one. We want it to be a gathering place for new and long-standing members alike, and a venue for seminars, forums and business-matching events. We plan to form industry groups, starting with construction and property, manufacturing, and agriculture, for more focused exchanges. We also plan a young entrepreneurs' group to nurture the next generation of business leaders.

We warmly invite business owners across Perak to join us and seize the new opportunities in Malaysia–China trade and investment together.
